However:
Weather Policy: We are at the discretion of the Rider’s Field guidelines. According to their website
What if it’s raining before the event?: Weather in North Texas can change rapidly. Just because it is raining in one area of the Metroplex, it doesn’t mean it’s raining in Frisco. If it is raining prior to our gates opening, we will have our field covered in hopes of having the event that particular night. If rain continues into the scheduled event time, RoughRiders management may invoke a rain delay in hopes of getting that night’s event in.
What happens if it starts raining during the event?: If it begins to rain during the event, the RoughRiders grounds crew will make sure the field is covered as quickly as possible. A decision to put the event in a rain delay or announce an official rainout will be made in consultation with event’s officials and in conjunction with RoughRiders management and local weather forecasts.
